Here is a breakdown of how the whole day flows so you can plan your time: Morning Activities (Downtown Lincoln) The morning is all about tradition, getting fueled up, and watching the parade. 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM | Pancake Breakfast: Kick things off early at the Lincoln Veteran’s Hall (541 5th St.). Hosted by the Native Sons and Daughters of the Golden West, it costs $12 for adults/teens and $5 for kids 11 and under. 9:00 AM | Hometown Parade: The parade starts at 5th & B Street. It’s recommended to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot and find parking. The parade wraps up between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Afternoon & Evening Festivities (McBean Park) After the parade, the action moves over to McBean Park for the rest of the day. Note that McBean Park Drive (from East Ave to D Street) will close to vehicles starting at 11:30 AM. 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Public Swim: Beat the afternoon heat at McBean Pool.
