Judge and Ryan Helbig are a Lincoln husband-and-wife team turning raw wood into pieces people actually use and display. They work out of a historic 1860s ranch barn, and everything they make comes from their own hands and their own machines.
Their product line started with outdoor yard games, including washer toss sets and a giant Jenga, and grew from there. Today, their biggest sellers are original dice games they designed themselves, including a baseball version, a football version, a date night game for couples, and a family adventure game built for all ages. They also make Phase 10 scoreboards and take custom orders.
The cutting boards and charcuterie boards are made from reclaimed maple sourced from a local Lincoln cabinet shop, glued up, and finished in-house. Ryan laser engraves each one, and the back side is fully functional as a cutting or serving surface.
Their newest work is a line of 12-inch hand-painted pine rounds. Ryan laser engraves the design first, then hand-paints the piece before finishing it with a protective coat. Each one can be hung as wall art or converted into a lazy Susan.
