Do I need an account to use ClickUpLocal?
Nope. You can browse all business listings, view scores, and explore the directory without ever creating an account. An account is only needed if you want to claim offers or participate in the Monthly Giveaway.
How do I create a ClickUpLocal account?
Click “Sign Up” or “Register” on the ClickUpLocal.com, enter your information, create a password, and confirm your email. That’s it — your account is free.
What is the minimum age to create an account?
You must be 18 years of age or older to create a ClickUpLocal account.
How do I Update My Account Information?
Log in and go to your account settings to update your name, email address, phone number, or communication preferences.
How Do I Reset My Password?
On the login page, click “Forgot Password” and enter your email address. We’ll send you a password reset link.
How do I delete my account?
Email us at support@clickuplocal.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.” We’ll process your request and delete your account and associated data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain certain information by law. Deleting your account will forfeit any pending Giveaway entries.
Browsing Listings
What is ClickUpLocal?
ClickUpLocal is a local business directory built for communities. We help residents discover and evaluate local businesses through easy-to-understand scores that reflect each business’s online reputation and digital presence.
How are businesses listed on the directory?
Businesses in the community are pre-populated in our directory using publicly available information. Business owners can then “claim” their listing to verify and manage it. Both claimed and unclaimed listings are visible to residents.
Can I Filter or Search Listings?
Yes. You can search by business name, category, or location, and filter results by score range, category, or other criteria.
Can I contact a business through ClickUpLocal?
Business listing pages display publicly available contact information (phone, website, address). You can use that information to contact businesses directly. ClickUpLocal does not broker communications between residents and businesses.
Business Scores
What are ClickUpLocal Scores?
Every business listing displays up to three scores: a Reputation Score, a Local Presence Score, and a ClickUpLocal Score. These are calculated by our algorithms using publicly available data — things like Google reviews, website quality, and listing consistency across the web. They give you a quick, honest read on a business’s community standing.
Did anyone pay to influence these scores?
No. Scores are completely independent of any business’s payment or subscription status on ClickUpLocal. A business cannot buy a higher score. See our Scoring Methodology page for the full breakdown.
Why Does A Business Have A Low Score?
Low scores typically reflect one or more of the following: few or no online reviews, poor review sentiment, an incomplete or inactive Google Business Profile, website issues, inconsistent contact information across directories, or other factors our algorithms determine. The business owner can improve their score by addressing those factors.
Why doesn’t a business have a score yet?
Some recently added or very small businesses may not yet have enough publicly available data for our algorithms to generate a reliable score. As data becomes available, a score will appear.
Can I dispute a business’s score?
ClickUpLocal Scores are generated algorithmically. Residents cannot directly modify a business’s score. If you believe a score contains an obvious error, you can contact us at support@clickuplocal.com with details. Business owners can submit a formal Score Review Request through their dashboard.
Offers
What Are Offers?
Offers are exclusive deals, discounts, or promotions that local businesses post for ClickUpLocal residents.
How do i claim an offer?
You must be logged in to your resident account to claim an offer. Click “Claim Offer” on a listing’s offer section. The offer details and any redemption instructions will be provided at that point.
Can I claim the same offer more than once?
This depends on the terms of the individual offer. Each offer specifies its redemption limits. Some offers are one-time, others may be recurring.
What if a business doesn’t honor my claimed offer?
Offers are fulfilled directly by the business. ClickUpLocal is not a party to the transaction and is not responsible for offer fulfillment. If a business refuses to honor an offer, you can contact the business directly or report the issue to us at support@clickuplocal.com and we will investigate.
Do Offers Expire?
Yes. Each offer has an expiration date specified by the business. Check the offer details before claiming.
Monthly Giveaway
What is the monthly giveaway?
Each month, ClickUpLocal runs a city-specific sweepstakes for registered users. One winner per active city is drawn randomly at the end of each month. Prize details are announced at the start of each Promotion Period. See the active cities list at clickuplocal.com/giveaway/cities to confirm whether your city has an active promotion.
Do I have to buy anything to enter?
No. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. You can earn entries by completing free actions on the Platform (like creating an account or claiming offers), or you can submit a free online entry without an account. See the full Giveaway Official Rules for details.
How do i earn entries?
Entries are earned by completing qualifying actions on the Platform during the active monthly Promotion Period. These include creating your account (one-time entries), claiming offers, and other actions listed on the Giveaway page. Entry values and qualifying actions are posted on the Platform.
Is there a limit on how many entries I can earn?
Yes. There is a maximum number of entries per person per monthly Promotion Period. See the Giveaway Official Rules for current limits.
When is the winner announced?
Winners are selected on or before the tenth business day of the following month and contacted via email and SMS (if a phone number is on file).
What if I win? What happens next?
We’ll email you at the address on your account. You’ll have 5 business days to respond and confirm your eligibility. You may be asked to provide age verification and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility before receiving your prize.
Who is eligible for the giveaway?
You must be 18 or older, a legal U.S. resident, reside in a city with an active ClickUpLocal Giveaway promotion, and have an active ClickUpLocal account in good standing. ClickUpLocal employees and their families are not eligible. See the Giveaway Official Rules for the full eligibility requirements.
Privacy and Communications
What information does ClickUpLocal collect about me?
We collect information you provide when creating your account (name, email, phone if given) and data about how you use the Platform. We do not sell your personal information. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
How do i opt out of emails?
Click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any marketing email, or email us at support@clickuplocal.com.
How do I opt out of text messages?
Reply STOP to any SMS from ClickUpLocal. You’ll receive a single confirmation and will no longer receive texts.
Can I request a copy of my data?
Yes. You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Submit a request at privacy@clickuplocal.com or via clickuplocal.com/privacy-request.
